Hardman Peck pianos, known as one of the most pivotal names in United States piano history, was established as the Hardman Piano Company by Hugh Hardman in 1842 in NYC. Until 1890, the company was controlled by the Hardman family. Later, Leopold Peck became a partner and the company was renamed Hardman Peck. For many years, The Hardman Peck piano was the official piano of New York's famed Metropolitan Opera.
Studio pianos are perfect for institutions like schools and churches; a great choice for all serious piano students. A studio piano has increased height, expanding the soundboard and string length, which projects a more powerful sound than smaller instruments. Professional musicians also prefer a studio sized piano for its rich tone, comparable to many grand pianos.
